Canopy Tour & Horseback Riding in Pozo Azul

River Rafting Adventure
A full day of adrenaline pumping adventure for the novice or the expert. Get
ready for the ride of your life! This is one of the most popular tours for white
water rafting and it is perfect for those who want to experience the river for
the first time. The run begins with a series of rapids that will keep you
moving. For beginners looking for the challenge of rapids we recommend the
Class-II and -III Sarapiquí River. For the more experienced rafter, the class-IV
and -V Pacuare River is excellent. You can enjoy the adventure of the rapids in
many places around the world, but only here, can you do it in the immersed in
rainforests and waterfalls .Four Destinations, One Experience
This perfect combination lets you experience the best of Costa Rica in one
amazing day. Begin by visiting Poás Volcano, famous for having one of the
largest craters in the world. On the way to the volcano, see coffee and sugar
plantations, fields of fresh strawberries and small towns with picturesque homes
adorned with colorful flowers. Then visit La Paz Waterfall Gardens, where
you will marvel at the spectacular view from observation decks. Also tour the
Butterfly, Hummingbirds and Orchid Gardens, the Snake Exhibit, Frog Pond and the
La Paz Cabin. Your adventure will continue on to the Sarapiquí River
meandering through the rainforest and discover toucans, monkeys, sloths, and
morpho butterflies. After your river journey, savor a delicious lunch and choose
between a short horseback ride and a walk through the property's gardens. On the
way back pass through Braulio Carrillo National Park and its cloud
forest, which is adorned with beautiful waterfalls and splendid forest views.
The Monteverde cloud forest area, which comprises
ten towns with 8,000 people,
is situated on the Continental Divide at an elevation or 5,600 feet above sea
level. The region is well known for its commitment to the sustainable
development of the community and the conservation of the cloud forest reserves.
The climate is typically cool and at times wet, so we
suggest to bring rain gear and boots, as well as pants, long-sleeved shirts and
a light jacket for our 2-hour skyways
walk, consisting in hanging bridges that will make feel like a Jaguar under the
forest or like an eagle from the sky. You will experience the cloud forest like
no one did before learning about the ecosystem, plants and wildlife.
The two-hours skyway trails are likely to show the visitor the wonder of the cloud forest and will enable the guests to enjoy its vegetation.
Then
a delicious Costa Rican lunch will be waiting for us, because after it at the
same place we will visit one of the most beautiful butterfly farm and of course,
because we know you are a nature lover, you can not miss the hummingbird garden
where you can see about 12 different species. All this will be part of this
unforgettable experience.

One of the most active volcanoes in the Americas, mighty Arenal rises from the dense jungle, where it roars and shakes the ground. Its unmistakable conic shape testifies to its constant activity. At night, you can watch it throw red-hot lava and ashes to the air, creating a light show that will stun you from miles away.
On your way there, you will ride through the heavenly landscape of Lake Arenal, nestled at the foot of the majestic mountain.
In the evening, you will have the opportunity to observe one of nature’s most powerful forces as Arenal erupts in a display of towering energy, spitting lava, and ash from inside the earth. Glowing lava and boulders tumble down the slopes, outlining Arenal´s perfect cone against the sky.
Afterwards, you can find yourself embraced in the tender touch of sultry hot springs, born from deep within the giant looming behind you. When you open your eyes, you will find yourself savoring a moonlit swim in the luxurious hot springs of Tabacón Spa and its sensuous tropical landscape.
Finally, you can enjoy a delicious dinner.

This canopy is located in a little town named Artola very close to the beaches of Ocotal – El Coco – Hermosa – Conchal – Tamarindo and Flamingo.
After one hour driving approximately, we arrive at the
site, where a tropical – dry forest and its high trees are surrounded the area.
Once we get there the tour guides will get you ready for the ride of your life.
After a short hike we will come to the first platform, ready for instructions to
start flying down the suspended cables.
During the tour we will come across a walk bridge between two platforms, this is a truly exhilarating and exciting experience. If we are lucky even the Howler Monkeys will be our company during a part of the canopy.
